Hi to all you Luke Adams fans, where ever you are

I'm writing this as we fly over the Atlantic on our way to Ireland for a homecoming concert I've been looking forward to forever.

The band are ready, I'm ready and my management team are super proud that they get to bring me back to where it all started to a sell out show. Jazz, my tour manager is currently learning Irish on Duo Lingo while Mike is salivating at the thought of a pint of the black stuff on the Emerald Isle.

Life on the road has become a way of life for me over the past few years, not that I'm complaining. I've recorded with some of the finest in the business in Nashville, I've worked in songwriting circles with people so talented they blew my mind, and funny story, I was recognised in Walmart and asked for a selfie for the first time last month and it hasn't stopped there - Mike says this is only the beginning, and sure enough, when we were boarding the plane I could barely make it to my seat before lift off as so many music fans knew my name AND my songs. I'm truly humbled to be living this crazy country life.

The new single, Will You Be My Country Girl? is out now. I can't wait to hear you all sing along with me when we hit Europe later this week.

But for now, Ireland - I'm coming home. For one night only, let's raise the roof and show the world why you're the best fans in the world.
